[Home] - [Juggletween] - [video]
Juggletween is an experiment in distributed video production. Version 1.0 was launched on 9th June 2004 via an announcement on the rec.juggling newsgroup (Juggletween 1 announcement), and Version 2.0 was launched on the 8th June 2005 (Juggletween 2 announcement)
The idea was to get groups of people from around the world (We managed France, USA and the UK I think), all working together to produce a juggling video... but without any of them knowing what any of the others were doing, or even who was involved!
The way it works is simple.
People volunteer by emailing me (LP) - and I then assigned them a section of the video. They were given instructions on how to start, and how to end their clip - and *strict* instructions not to tell anyone else that they were even involved in the project!
One by one, they return their individual video clips, and I compile them, edit them together, choose some suitable music etc etc. After months of hard work by all involved, it all comes together and the end result is as fresh and exciting to watch for those that made it, as it is for the casual observer!
Yes! Certainly! We'd like you do be a bit nice about it though, so please read the advice about mirroring at the bottom of this page
Juggletween 2 is now complete! It's bigger and better than last years juggletween with 16 people taking part working in 5 countries spread all over the globe!

Apologies for the large file size, but as approximately 6 times as many of you downloaded the 136Mb version of last years video than downloaded all of the other versions put together, I decided it probably wasn't an issue! Besides, it's 6 minutes long. I couldn't have got it *that* much smaller really :-)

Juggletween 1 is where it all started, and is still well worth watching
Thanks for this one go to:

The only diference between the two AVI version is the bitrate of the audio and the dimensions of the video.

If you want to mirror the files on your own webspace - please get in touch via juggletween@juggler.net so that I can make sure your mirror gets added to the list.
If you want to link to the video from another website, please don't link directly to the files as the mirrors are likely to change/vanish without warning. You're much better off linking to this page instead, as this will be kept updated as and when mirrors change.
Thanks for watching, take care, drive safe, and don't let the bed bugs nibble your fleshy bits!
